Bedtime Routine

Good Clean fun!! The boys love pirates in the tub! We are working towards independent brushing! I can only imagine!
Potty training has been a struggle with Connor but we are getting there.
He is fine at home it's when we leave to go somewhere!! Bring extra clothes!
Carson loves to have descriptive chapter books read to him! His favorite currently is "The Magic Tree House" Series. We go to the library to check them out once a week! Lake Orion has a very child friendly interactive library!
Mommy's favorite time of day...bed time...My mom used
say "I am not mom after 9" I understand that now!!!!

Polly Ann Trail and picnic!!

Boys and trees...need I say more!

Our picnic was great!! We ate strawberries, hummus, crackers, cheese, granola trail mix, and cucumbers!! I love Connor at age two!! He is so sweet, smart, and amazing!! Watching him grow and learn everyday brings me so much joy! Walk the line Carson!!

Found some birch wood...decided to wear it as a hat!! I think it looks like a dunce hat!! Bath to follow!!

Have you ever watched a child try and use a drinking fountain by themselves!! I love watching them up on their toes... push the button then bend down to get the water only to realize that they let go of the button...eventually the child, frustrated, begins to lick the spout and the mom jumps up to help because that is just nasty (but funny)!!
This fountain is extra fun...the boys enjoyed getting wet!!

Connor takes on the tractors!! Popa has bought all five of his grand kids toy tractors!! This time of year if you want any time with my dad you better head to the field (he may put you to work)!!!!

The Farm

We have had such wonderful weather...It was time to go to the dairy farm for some ice cream!

Being a farmer's daughter I can't help but get my ice cream fresh from the source!
Now that is a long tongue!!
Connor loved the little babies!! He had to pet each one!!

Don't turn your back on it until you have tried it!! come on

over we will take you to the farm!!

Oxford Fire Department!!!!!

The Preschoolers learn fire safety at the Oxford Fire Department! Stop drop and roll...get low and crawl...have a plan with mom and dad...don't hide go outside!!
Fireman "hottie" I mean Jeramey tries to convince Connor he is not scary in his uniform!! He does eventually give em' five!!
I am not sure who enjoyed the hose more Carson or the firefighter...They were aiming for the captain's jeep!!!
Connor has it under control!!
The ole' time siren which used to be mounted on the fire trucks and manually turned when the truck was on route to a fire!!! The kids had a ball with this seeing who could make it the loudest!!

Every little boys dream!!! He walked around all day

calling himself a firefighter deputy securing the premises at home

and counting the smoke detectors in the house!!

This yellow truck is a vintage fire truck that still works today!!
"hmmmm Which buttons can i push?"

Craig's Baseball Team!!!

Craig, Cliff, and Chad (brother in-law) all joined the HSBC baseball
team. Games are on Tues. and practice on Sat. The boys are very
excited to see their daddy play some ball!

Craig #8 and his dad #18!! When Craig was a boy he would wait for his dad to come home from work to play with him rather than go play with his friends!!

Craig had a field day at the Sports Authority!! He took the boys and came home with all the gear...Gloves, balls, hats, bats, cleats, jerseys, shorts, socks the works!!!

GET OUTSIDE!!!

WE SPENT THE WHOLE DAY AT THE......
PARK!!!! This park is less than a mile from where we live!
Castle theme...It was built less than three years ago via donations from the community! I found out that they are now collecting donations for a small water park in this same area. They are a few thousand short now but the plans are for shooting fountains, small kid slides and some other water features to be announced!! BREAKING GROUND THIS SUMMER!

Connor went crazy this year!! Last year he needed me to

hover around and help with everything...now he is the king of the slide!

JUST HANGIN' AROUND!!This swing cracks me up! It looks like a handicap swing?? I am not sure but every kid in the park wanted to be on it and so my boys got in line!! I pushed for about an hour (exercise check) "Push!! push!! Push!!" BOSSY LITTLE...

CONNOR PARK RULE #2 MUST JUMP OFF EVERYTHING!!
Carson is old enough this year to go off (in the fenced in park with only one exit) and find friends of his own!! He of course found girls to play tag with...WILL BOYS EVER STOP CHASING GIRLS??? LOL!
CONNOR RULE #3 MUST GO DOWN EVERY SLIDE OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!
WELL MAYBE NOT EVERY SLIDE- THE BUMPY ONE SUCKS!!!
